Our Story

Seekers Point Ministries started in 2009 by Pastor Mike and Miranda Foster with only a vision and a van. They formed a non-profit ministry for missions. At the time they were pastoring a traditional church when they began to see college students and young families disconnect from the local church. This gave them a desire to change the culture and start something new. What seemed impossible soon became reality by the miraculous hand of God. A one-time nightclub building soon became known as Seekers Point. God continues to bring that vision to reality.

We at Seekers Point Church want to “love God and love people.” We have a desire to share the love of Christ with others by staying involved with local and foreign missions. Our sole purpose is to see Hammond, along with the nations, worship Christ. At Seekers Point you will find a church family passionate about Jesus, and passionate about making Him famous.

The mission of Seekers Point Church is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

The vision of Seekers Point Church is to create a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
